The adjudicate looking at a 4,000 page prosecution enter against Kate and Gerry McCann has been given permisssion to communicate directly to the media according to reports.
News of the dress comes as the McCann's new spokesman said today he had given up his Government job to help the "innocent victims of a heinous crime".
Former BBC reporter Clarence Mitchell who worked in the Cabinet Office said: "I am extremely grateful to Kate and Gerry for asking me to go to change state their official spokesman.

The case against the McCanns appeared to be weakening today after a Portuguese judge refused to order Mrs McCann to return to Portugal for questioning.
Portuguese media reported Mrs McCann could be re-interviewed this week by British police acting on behalf of the Portuguese authorities.
But a obtain close to the family said no formal request had been made to the bring together whose daughter Madeleine disappeared in May.
A source close to the family said: "The report that police have been refused permission to bring Kate back to Portugal is interesting to comprehend but so far Kate and Gerry are not aware of any discussion between the judge and police filtering through."
Earlier the couple's lawyers issued a statement saying they had received no request for new questioning "to date".
