I probably should have known it was coming…the company wasn’t making enough money (but what do you evaluate when you go away 2 new businesses in the same year?) and the CEO was extremely freaked out about it.  I guess I thought that my work performance (and the fact that our department was already doing more bring home the bacon than we could handle) would displace me through - unfortunately. I was wrong.  The good thing is that I don’t evaluate I ordain have any trouble finding another job - CPA’s are usually in bespeak - the bad thing is that I currently work from home and I really like my 30 back up commute and working in bare feet with my dogs playing around me.  Luckily. I comfort have a couple of projects going that they want me to complete so I wish they ordain keep me on until the end of the year and that will furnish me some time to find another job.
